Oljeanalys
VPdiagnose has developed a number of analysis packages for Insulating Oils and Lubricating Oils. Below you can see which analysis packages you can choose from and what they show.
Insulation Oils:
Lubrication Oils:
Analysis packages Insulation Oils

Oil Analysis:
Oil analysis is done to answer two types of questions: how is the object? And, how is the oil?
The tests that we include in our assessment include: the oil's acidity and pH, its DBDS content, as well as its sulphur content, antioxidant content, copper content, peroxide content, water content, interfacial tension, turbidity, IR curve, breakthrough strength and visual inspection.

Art.nr 1001

Gas analysis:
Dissolved Gas Analysis provides the answer to whether large acute faults are present (screening DGA). The slow-acting faults require higher accuracy (precision DGA). The faults are mainly of the hot-running type and faults where electrical discharges are involved. The gas analysis includes the following parameters: DGA, refractive index and density. The report provides information on the maintenance needs of the object and the presence/indications of faults. Precision gas analysis allows for the detection of faults at a very early stage.

Trafo diagnose:
Oil + gas analysis. The content of the report is based on the co-assessment of facts combined from the gas and oil analysis. This means that a more accurate statement of the condition is possible.
Art. No 1003

Authorisation report:
Gas + oil analysis with some additional parameters i.e. corrosive S, 2-furfural, tan™ and gravimetric purity. The content of the report is based on facts combined from the gas and oil analysis but with an in-depth interpretation template that includes chromatographic data in combination with operational data. All in all, the report gives a very good picture of the current state of the transformer.
Art. No 1004

Residual life:
Like authorisation report but including calculation of residual life based on operational data of the site.
Art. No 1005

Analysis packages Lubrication Oils

Diagnose 1:
The composition of lubricating oils varies greatly in terms of base oil and additive content. It is therefore not economically feasible to carry out in-depth diagnoses unless a specific issue exists. Lubricating oil analyses are therefore basically focused on contamination/wear. Gravimetric purity with ICP filter, acid number, pH and moisture content are included in the package.
Art. No 2001

Diagnose 2:
Gravimetric cleanliness with ICP filter, ICP, moisture content, acid number and pH. An extended package compared to diagnosis 1 as we also perform elemental analysis (ICP). The package is a smaller variant of system condition and thus only provides basic data.
Art. No 2003

System status:
Gravimetric purity with ICP filter, ICP, moisture content, acid number, antioxidants, pH, olefinic bonds and FT-IR. This also refers to bearing systems, but with the difference that they are built together with the control system whose sensitivity to contamination is completely different compared to plain bearing systems. The current trend towards higher control system pressure also means that the tolerance to contamination is decreasing and that oil misformulations will more often be a problem for the system. Thus, the choice of analysis provides a deeper understanding of how the oil is and how it changes.
Art. No 2002

Gearbox large:
Gravimetric purity with ICP filter, ICP, moisture content, acid number, density, refractive index and additive content. qualitative and viscosity with BROOKFIELD. Reports gear wear and provides information on the oil's content of protective additives for the machine and the oil.The viscosity is often responsible for the lubrication in gears and is therefore naturally included in the package.
Art. No 2004

Gearbox small:
Gravimetric purity with ICP filter, ICP, density and refractive index. Low cost version of the large.
Art. No 2005

Diesel engine:
Viscosity at 40ºC, ICP, Bastal and moisture content.
Art. No 2006
